It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas!

Winter has arrived in the Northwoods.  You may not have any winter to speak of where you are, but for us it “dropped” in rather suddenly.  We had a little preview here and there over the past month and a half – but a week ago Mother Nature finally decided it was time.

We have about a 16 – 19 inch snow depth  in the woods around camp, but other areas of the Gunflint Trail and Cook County MN have up to 2ft or more.  We’ve been busy packing and tracking the ski trail system and are happy to announce that roughly 2/3 of our system is up and running!  The Skiing is great, guests are happy,  the snowman is built, the birds are coming to the feeders and for Christmas eve – the cocoa and cookies are hot!

We want to reach out to all of our guests, friends and neighbors to wish you the best wishes for a Merry Christmas!  May you be surrounded by friends and family making wonderful memories!

Enjoy the pictures!
