From Duluth, Minnesota travel north along the shore of Lake Superior on Highway 61.  Two hours (110 miles) Northeast of Duluth is the town of Grand Marais (grand ma-ray).

 As you pass through Grand Marais watch for the left hand turn for the Gunflint Trail (Cook County Road 12).  It's 43 miles to the S. Gunflint Lake side road.  There's a large sign at the entrance of our road.  Turn right (off of pavement onto gravel) then travel about 1 mile.  You'll pass by Gunflint Lodge, we'll be the next property on the left. 

Remember your cell phones will not work after about 10 - 12 miles up the trail!  Watch out for the moose, deer, bear and the various other critters that inhabit our forests.  If you have questions please call us at 218-388-4454 or See you soon...
