We invite you to join us!

Whether you want a family or fishing vacation in a lakefront cabin, tent, camper or RV, the Gunflint Pines invites you to experience four seasons of outdoor activity. Spring for exploring, wildlife sightings, birding, hiking, and early season Walleye and Lake Trout fishing. Summer activities range from swimming, canoeing, Mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, bass fishing, boating, hiking & berry picking.

Fall finds the woods alluring with the leaves changing color, whether by hiking or canoeing, grouse hunting or a little late season Lake Trout fishing. For peace and quiet, you can't beat Winter with our cross-country skiing, dog sledding, ice-fishing, snowmobiling and snow shoeing.
Awaken early to the morning mist clearing off the lake, the call of a distant loon, the morning songs of the neighborhood birds, a colorful sunrise or the shimmering of freshly fallen snow. By day experience the Superior National Forest and surrounding the BWCA, whether it be by canoe, kayak, early morning hike, snowshoe or cross country ski. In the evenings adventure is at your doorstep. Step outside and listen for wildlife, view the Milky Way, or experience a spectacular sunset or display of Northern Lights. Listen for the howl of the Timber Wolf or the cry of the Loon on a moonlit lake. At night the wilderness comes to life.

Explore our world. . . .

Where cell phones don't ring to call you to work. Where evenings are spent gathering with friends, watching the Northern lights, playing games or chatting the evening away around a fire. Where "Neighbor" still means someone you can count on in a pinch and "Community" means more than just the place you live.
