The Gunflint Pines Resort & Campground is one of the few private campgrounds on the Gunflint Trail, and the only campground on Gunflint lake. We offer a complete resort with premier camping and the family in mind.
    We want to help you escape the stress you so often experience in your everyday life and return to a simpler time.  Play a board game with your kids, paddle a canoe to explore the lakeshore.  Take a boat ride to Bridal falls, or to campers island to cook a shore lunch.  Listen to the call of the loon, pack a lunch and picnic at the High Cliffs.  Fish, look for moose, skip rocks, pick berries or roast marshmallows with your child.  Let them remind you what it's like to look up into the night sky or down at the plants on the ground.
    Often families choose our resort for their family reunion due to the variety of accommodations we offer.  From Cabins to Camping Cabins, RV or tent campsites we have something to offer most any family's needs.  Our lakefront A-frame cabins can comfortably house up to 12 people.   The cottages are great for couples or a smaller family sleeping up to 6 people.  The camping cabins offer a more rustic cabin, sleeping up to 5 people.  We pride ourselves on the fact that we operate a small, very personal resort.  We pay special attention to young children as we know what it can be like to vacation if the children aren't happy.  We have a treat jar and board games in the lodge, a playground area, and sand box to help keep them busy.
  We purposely do not offer TV's and you might as well turn the cell phone off as you head up the trail as there's no coverage here.  You'll be amazed at how much you can do in a day without TV.  You may choose to bring a TV but don't forget the VCR or DVD player as we don't get TV reception here.
